Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data DIVERR collects, why we collect it, how it is protected, and how you can control it.
Version 1.0 · Last updated 4 August 2026
Data we collect
- Account data: name, email address, password hash, role and access code used.
- Profile data: gender, age, date of birth, country, nationality, address, phone, skills, qualifications, experience, department, position, portfolio and social links, about and career goals.
- Learning data: enrolments, lesson watch position and completion, task submissions, marks, feedback and certificates.
- Communication data: messages, meeting invitations, notifications and contact form submissions.
- Technical data: sign-in timestamps, browser user agent, and error diagnostics.
Why we use it
To operate your account, enforce role-based permissions, deliver courses and tasks, issue certificates, send notifications and reminders, and keep the platform secure. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Cookies and local storage
We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies and browser storage entries: your sign-in session, your theme preference, and short-lived values used during registration. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.
Storage and security
- Data is stored in a managed PostgreSQL database with row-level security, so each account can only read the rows its role permits.
- Uploaded files (avatars, course content, task submissions) live in private storage buckets served through short-lived signed links.
- Passwords are hashed and never visible to us or to your Owner.
- Sensitive actions such as role changes and code issuance are written to an immutable audit log.
Payments
Registration and membership fees are collected offline by the DIVERR team. We store only the fact that a code was issued and redeemed — no card numbers, UPI handles or bank details are stored in the platform.
Your rights
- Access: view and edit your profile at any time from the Profile page.
- Correction: update inaccurate details yourself or ask your Owner to correct organisational records.
- Export: request a copy of your personal data.
- Deletion: request removal of your account and personal data.
- Objection: ask us to stop specific non-essential processing such as reminder notifications.
Deleting your account
Email support@diverr.in with the subject “Account deletion”. We verify the request, then delete your profile, submissions, messages and files within 30 days. Audit records and records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons are retained in anonymised form.
Retention
Active account data is kept while your account exists. Deleted accounts are purged within 30 days. Audit logs are retained for up to 24 months.
